There's no place like home for South Ripley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Schmaltz, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Brogan Buchanan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

South Ripley now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jac-Cen-Del, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.

Looking ahead, South Ripley is taking a road trip to take on Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they will challenge Edinburgh at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
