Softball Recap: Seffner Christian Crusaders vs. Indian Rocks Christian Eagles
Seffner Christian never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Indian Rocks Christian on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 11-4 victory. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Allison Baston made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
