Volleyball Game Preview: Pine Forge Academy Falcons vs. International Christian Titans

The Pine Forge Academy Falcons will square off against the International Christian Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. International Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pine Forge Academy, who comes in off a win.

Pine Forge Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Misael Hunt-Butler. Everything went Pine Forge Academy's way against Girard College on Wednesday as Pine Forge Academy made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Hunt-Butler, who hit 83.3% for five kills and 15 aces and seven assists. Hunt-Butler is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

While Pine Forge Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 25-10.

International Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pine Forge Academy.

Pine Forge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for International Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Pine Forge Academy was able to grind out a solid win over International Christian in their previous matchup on Tuesday, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine Forge Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
