Basketball Game Preview: Ravenna Ravens vs. Woodridge Bulldogs

Ravenna hasn't had much luck against Woodridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Ravenna Ravens will welcome the Woodridge Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Ravenna turned things around against Norton on Wednesday. They managed a 56-52 victory over the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Woodridge got the win against Field on Wednesday by a conclusive 76-53. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

Woodridge has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Ravenna, their win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11.
