Basketball Recap: Port Clinton Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Port Clinton Redskins lost to the Van Buren Black Knights at home by a 58-40 margin. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Port Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Van Buren, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Clinton will challenge Huron at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Huron's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Van Buren, they will take on Ada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Van Buren knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Ada likes a good challenge.
