Football Game Preview: Silverton Foxes vs. Summit Storm + How To Watch

The Silverton Foxes will head out to face off against the Summit Storm at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Silverton sitting on five straight wins and Summit on 12.

Silverton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Mountain View with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. 35 seems to be a good number for the Foxes as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Silverton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chase Dominguez led the charge by rushing for 45 yards and one score, while also throwing for 118 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes. The dominant performance also gave Dominguez a new career-high in passer rating (142.9). Logan Uitto did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Summit faced Churchill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Storm enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over the Lancers.

Silverton's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Summit, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Silverton was able to grind out a solid victory over Summit in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 36-23. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Storm's Taylan Kinsella, who rushed for 157 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Foxes to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
