Rio Americano got themselves on the board against Reed on Friday, but Reed never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Reed. The win was nothing new for Rio Americano as they're now sitting on five straight.

Everett Filippo was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Will Parilo was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Rio Americano always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rio Americano pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Reed, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Rio Americano will host Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Americano is facing Ponderosa at the right time seeing as Ponderosa is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Reed, they will square off against Carson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Carson has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.17 runs per game on average), something Reed will no doubt try to take advantage of.
