Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

After flying high against Keller Central last Tuesday, Trinity came back down to earth. The Trojans fell 36-25 to the Southlake Carroll Dragons on Tuesday. The Trojans lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 72-37 score last time.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Southlake Carroll, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Trinity will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Timber Creek at 5:45 p.m. on the 16th. As for Southlake Carroll, they will take on Rowlett on Thursday. The Eagles have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
