Basketball Game Preview: Inland Lakes Bulldogs vs. Cheboygan Chiefs

The Inland Lakes Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Cheboygan Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Inland Lakes lost to St. Mary Cathedral at home by a 45-31 margin.

Meanwhile, Cheboygan came up short against Charlevoix on Tuesday and fell 54-46. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheboygan's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-9. As for Inland Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Inland Lakes came up short against Cheboygan in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 50-40. Can Inland Lakes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
