Soccer Game Preview: Grapevine Faith Christian vs. All S

The Grapevine Faith Christian Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the All S Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grapevine Faith Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

If All S heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Grapevine Faith Christian took over last week. Grapevine Faith Christian came out on top against North Central Texas Academy by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Pioneers are ranked 21st).

Grapevine Faith Christian hit North Central Texas Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Santini, Braden Cope, Beau Heimann, and Brodie Ciesiolka.

Meanwhile, All S's and Fort Worth THESA's contest on Friday was close at halftime, but All S turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. All S never let Fort Worth THESA onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Grapevine Faith Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for All S, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
