Scottsdale Preparatory Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Valley between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.
Scottsdale Preparatory Academy relied on the efforts of Sophia Lee, who had 11 digs and five aces, and Brielle Amarel, who had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lee has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, San Tan Charter got the win against Pima last Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Roadrunners have beaten the Roughriders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Roughriders has come to flipping the script.
San Tan Charter never let Pima on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-14.
Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's record is now 24-11. As for San Tan Charter, their record now sits at 20-1.
