Brentwood Christian came tearing into Thursday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brighter Horizons Academy Stars 82-53. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Brentwood Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryant Herring out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. Herring has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Marcus Zelee, who posted 12 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds.

Brentwood Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matches.

Brentwood Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Brighter Horizons Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
