Soccer Recap: Weir Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Weir was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Trinity Christian Warriors by a score of 1-0. If Weir were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Trinity Christian when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Weir's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Trinity Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Weir has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Oak Glen on the 6th. As for Trinity Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against John Marshall on the 8th.
