Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Rough Riders vs. Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors

The Roosevelt Rough Riders will square off against the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Roosevelt was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-48 to Aberdeen Central. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pierre T.F. Riggs unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 70-60 to Jefferson.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Roosevelt was taken down by Pierre T.F. Riggs 57-26 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Roosevelt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
