Baseball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

The Plainview Bears came up short against the Headland Rams on Wednesday, falling 16-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Headland, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

When Plainview and Headland next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Plainview will face off against Madison County and their five-game winning streak at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Headland will try to stop Enterprise's three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Headland 3.9, Enterprise 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
