Sterlington had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-31 win over the Richwood Rams. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Rams are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sterlington pushed their record up to 21-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points over those games. As for Richwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterlington will take on Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richwood, they will challenge Bastrop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
