Richardson has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Irving recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Eagles will welcome the Tigers  at 6:30  p.m.
Richardson is headed into the  matchup having just  suffered their biggest  loss since September 19th on Tuesday. They lost  3-0 to Wylie East. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since  back in September.

Meanwhile, Irving came into Tuesday's   contest having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Berkner with a sharp  3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Tigers not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since August 26th (when they won  3-0).
 Irving not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Berkner between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21,  25-19.
 Irving's  win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 5-17. As for Richardson, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-17 record  this season.
 Everything went Richardson's way against Irving in their previous meeting  back in September, as Richardson made off with  a  3-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success,  or do  the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
