Quincy fell victim to Hamilton and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Braves, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Quincy got a good showing from Reilly Vaughn, who didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Vaughn has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Quincy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Wade, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Wade has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Hamilton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.
