Basketball Game Preview: Brio College Prep Olympians vs. Rise Kohyang Tritons

The Brio College Prep Olympians will challenge the Rise Kohyang Tritons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Brio College Prep lost 36-13 to New Designs University Park on Friday. The Olympians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Rise Kohyang hadn't done well against Smidt Tech recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Rise Kohyang snuck past Smidt Tech with a 65-60 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tritons considering their 25-point performance the game before.

Rise Kohyang's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-10. As for Brio College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Brio College Prep took their win against Rise Kohyang when the teams last played back in November of 2018 by a conclusive 62-42. Will Brio College Prep repeat their success, or does Rise Kohyang have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
