Skidmore-Tynan had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They blew past Refugio 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Refugio's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caylee Collins, who had 19 digs, six kills, three aces, and one block. Collins is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Aiyanna Brown was another key player, getting 22 digs and four aces.

Skidmore-Tynan's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Refugio, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-16.
