Football Recap: Rio Americano Comes Up Short

Rio Americano fell victim to St. Francis and their airtight defense on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Troubadours. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Francis got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lola Fox out in front who threw for 126 yards and four touchdowns. Tayli Paeu-Lindgren was in the mix too, providing the Troubadours with three scores.

Rio Americano dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
