Central Cambria is 0-10 against Bishop Guilfoyle since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, a fact Central Cambria proved on Tuesday. They strolled past Bedford with points to spare, taking the game 64-50.

Central Cambria can attribute much of their success to Grady Snyder, who scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. The contest was Snyder's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Iacono, who scored 19 points.

Meanwhile, Bishop Guilfoyle had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 73-36 win over Bald Eagle Area.

Central Cambria now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Things could have been worse for Central Cambria, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-50 loss to Bishop Guilfoyle in their previous meeting back in February.
