Basketball Recap: Tylee Davis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hillsboro over Fairfield Union

Hillsboro and Fairfield Union squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Hillsboro had to settle for second. They took a 52-36 bruising from the Fairfield Union Falcons. The match marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tylee Davis, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards. Davis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Annia Young, who posted eight points.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Fairfield Union, the win keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Hillsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairfield Union, they will be taking part in a tournament against Circleville at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
