Meanwhile, United South was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against United by a score of 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The team relied heavily on Juan P Briseno, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Galvan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

United South's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Uvalde, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3-2.
