Even though Oregon City will be good again (as always), and even though Oregon City won the 6A title last year, South Medford gets back 6-1 wing
Andee Ritter from injury to join a potent backcourt that also includes senior
Keyari Sleezer and junior
Julissa Tago, a late bloomer who will help showcase South Medford in the West Coast Jamboree after Christmas. Ritter just signed with UC Irvine and Sleezer with Pepperdine.

N'dea Flye and
Cierra Walker return for Oregon City, which won a state title last year despite graduating five senior starters the previous year. The Pioneers have captured a whopping 12 state titles and won between 23 and 28 games every season since 2006-07.

The Bulldogs graduated only one senior from their 4A state championship team and return, among others, 5-6 senior point guard
Miranda Mendenhall and shooting guard
Olivia Gulliford, the team's leading scorer who had 16 points in the state-title game win over La Salle Prep. Sutherlin has won two state titles — the other was 2007-08 — and has gone a combined 82-4 the last three seasons.

The two-time defending 5A champs return seven off last year's squad that defeated Corvallis 63-54 in the finals, but lost current Gonzaga freshman Lexi Bando, who scored 29 in the finals. Key returners include 5-8 junior

Keeli Munkres. The Wolverines also won state titles in 2007 and 2009 and have gone a combined 74-10 the last three seasons.

The defending 3A state champs return 11 players from last year's team, including key starters
Madison Johnson, a 5-7 senior guard, and
Hannah Bates, a 5-10 senior forward. The Vikings have won three of the last four 3A state titles and five overall. They are a combined 98-10 the last four seasons.
