Volleyball Recap: Dos Palos Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dos Palos can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Torres Toros on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-7.

Leading Torres to victory were Gianna Gonzalez and Alexa Cervantes. Gonzalez had 22 digs and two aces, while Cervantes had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Gonzalez has posted since back in September.

Dos Palos' defeat dropped their record down to 14-17-1. As for Torres, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11.

Dos Palos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Torres, they will square off against Fowler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
