Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irion County). They blew past the Blackwell Hornets 94-22 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for Irion County as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Irion County pushed their record up to 23-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for Blackwell, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Irion County will square off against Bronte at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Irion County is facing Bronte at the right time seeing as Bronte is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Blackwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
