Softball Recap: Kimball Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Kimball had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They never let the Foley Falcons get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cubs, who have now won 14 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kimball pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Foley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Kimball does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foley, they will welcome Pierz at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
