Volleyball Game Preview: Monroe Campus vs. DeWitt Clinton Governors

Monroe Campus will square off against the DeWitt Clinton Governors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

After dropping their season opener at home, DeWitt Clinton is headed out to face a Monroe Campus squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Monroe Campus fell just short of Columbus by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Meanwhile, DeWitt Clinton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Truman by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Governors in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Monroe Campus skirted past DeWitt Clinton 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Does Monroe Campus have another victory up their sleeve, or will DeWitt Clinton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
