Prairie View entered their tilt with Westminster on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Westminster Wolves 57-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-57 back in January.

Prairie View had a senior duo take command as Javon Brewton went 5 of 12 on his way to 19 points and six boards and Randall Rogos dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Brewton has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last three times he's played. Kehinde Ojowa was another key player, putting up six points and nine rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Westminster lost, don't look at Michael Davidson. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 8 en route to 14 points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Westley Trout, who posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Prairie View is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Westminster, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Prairie View will be playing at home against Riverdale Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
