Volleyball Recap: Olney Find Success

Olney won the last time they faced Bellevue and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cubs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cubs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Bellevue saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brooklyn Shook had 18 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, Shook is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

Olney's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Bellevue, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Olney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Prairie Valley on the 19th. As for Bellevue, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Saint Jo on the 23rd.
