Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Home Wins for Stephens

Stephens won the last time they faced Victory Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Stephens Roadrunners came out on top against the Victory Christian Conquerors by a score of 64-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roadrunners.

Stephens' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kason Powell, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 16 points. The match was Powell's 19th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zane Lout, who went 5 for 6 en route to 14 points.

Stephens' victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.4 points per game. As for Victory Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
