Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Lions vs. Lakeside Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Trinity Christian Lions will jump right back in to play the Lakeside Panthers at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian will be strutting in after a win while Lakeside will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity Christian took on Stephenson on Monday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jaguars, sneaking past 62-59.

Meanwhile, Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Laney. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since November 23, 2024.

Trinity Christian will need to focus on slowing down Isaiah Walker, one of several Lakeside players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 15 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Bower, who earned 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Trinity Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
