Volleyball Recap: Empower College Prep Takes a Loss

Empower College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Maricopa Institute of Technology Iron Eagles. The Wolf were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Iron Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Empower College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Maricopa Institute of Technology, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coincidentally, Empower College Prep and Maricopa Institute of Technology will both be playing Trinity Christian the next time they take the court. The Iron Eagles will head out to face the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wolf will host them on October 20.
