Basketball Recap: Milton's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

The Milton Eagles came up short against the Decatur Bulldogs on Saturday and fell 65-55. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Jason Welborn was his usual excellent self, going 9-for-14 en route to 22 points for Decatur. That's the most points Welborn has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Kaden Richards, who earned 13 points.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Milton will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Seckinger at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Decatur, they will take on Dunwoody at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
