Verona won the last time they faced Nutley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hillbillies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Maroon Raiders, sneaking past 5-4.

Verona's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Nutley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Verona will face off against West Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hillbillies will need to watch out since the Mountaineers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Nutley, they will host Montclair Kimberley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.14 runs per game on average), something the Maroon Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
