Softball Recap: Elysian Fields Takes a Loss

Elysian Fields lost against Overton back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets lost 13-7 to the Overton Mustangs.

Kaylen Commander was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Avery Woodley was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Elysian Fields' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Overton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8-1.

While Elysian Fields had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
