Baseball Recap: Hickman County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Hickman County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fulton County Pilots a 19-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Drew Cunningham was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted over his last six contests. Korbin Kimbell was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Hickman County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
