Football Game Preview: Meek Tigers vs. Carbon Hill Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Meek Tigers will head out to square off against the Carbon Hill Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meek will be strutting in after a win while Carbon Hill will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Meek took their game with ease, bagging a 52-8 victory over Vina. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Carbon Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against Gordo, falling 61-25. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Green Wave are ranked 120th).

Meek will have to keep a close watch on Michael Baker and Dayton Miller, a pair of players who had a big impact on Carbon Hill's prior game. Baker gained 187 total yards and two touchdowns, while Miller threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.

Carbon Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Meek, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Meek against Carbon Hill in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 54-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
