Basketball Game Preview: Lighthouse Christian Lions vs. Dickson Academy Falcons

The Lighthouse Christian Lions and the Dickson Academy Falcons will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lighthouse Christian beat Franklin Road Christian 60-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Allen Niles Jr produced another solid performance shooting 67% from the field to rack up 25 points and three steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16.4 points per game. Lucas Haymer was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, Dickson Academy came up short against Franklin Classical School back in November and fell 74-66.

Lighthouse Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Dickson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Lighthouse Christian against Dickson Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2021, as the squad secured a 101-29 win. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
