Basketball Recap: Kittatinny Regional Piles Up the Points Against Mount Olive

Kittatinny Regional lost to Mount Olive back in February of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 55-24 stomp they got against the Mount Olive Marauders. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Kittatinny Regional's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mount Olive, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kittatinny Regional Cougars face off against the Hackettstown Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Mount Olive and Wallkill Valley will round out the year against one another at on Monday.
