Basketball Game Preview: St. Joseph's Catholic Knights vs. Upstate Falcons

The St. Joseph's Catholic Knights and the Upstate Falcons will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, St. Joseph's Catholic was fully in charge, breezing past Travelers Rest 56-20. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-16.

St. Joseph's Catholic can attribute much of their success to Tiffany Helmer, who posted 19 points and five steals, and Evie Adams, who had 17 points and four steals. Adams is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Cifuni, who put up four steals.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Upstate beat Mountain View Prep 48-44 on Monday.

Upstate's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
