Ichabod Crane came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Catholic Central Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Riders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ichabod Crane's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Catholic Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.
