Soccer Recap: Palmview Comes Up Short

Palmview was the 3-3 winner over Nixon when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Lobos lost 6-0 to the Mustangs on Tuesday. Palmview have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Palmview's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Nixon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Palmview will challenge Rio Grande City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmview will be up against Rio Grande City's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.71 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Nixon, they will face off against Mission Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
