Basketball Game Preview: Glens Falls Black Bears vs. Schuylerville Horses

Glens Falls is 8-2 against Schuylerville since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Glens Falls Black Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Schuylerville Horses at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Glens Falls came up short against Scotia-Glenville and fell 62-53. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Allie Dickinson, who posted 19 points. Those 19 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Wolfstich, who earned 13 points.

Meanwhile, Schuylerville ended up a good deal behind Scotia-Glenville on Monday and lost 47-31. The defeat continues a trend for the Horses in their matchups with the Tartans: they've now lost three in a row.

Schuylerville's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Glens Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Everything came up roses for Glens Falls against Schuylerville in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 64-29 victory. In that match, Glens Falls amassed a halftime lead of 41-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
