 Northwest Rankin put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Brandon Bulldogs onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. Northwest Rankin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 14 matchups by six  runs or more this season.
  Grace Wallis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Wallis has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Wallis was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Carlee Tubbs and  Brooke Smith did most of the damage at the plate:  Tubbs  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base, while  Smith  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.  Hannah Sullivan was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Northwest Rankin's victory was  their 28th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 20-0. As for Brandon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
 Northwest Rankin has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Petal at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Brandon, they will head out on the road to  square off against  North Pike at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
