Volleyball Game Preview: Littlerock Lobos vs. Lancaster Eagles

Littlerock hasn't had much luck against Lancaster recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Lobos will head out to face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Littlerock came up short against Highland and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Lancaster entered their tilt with Quartz Hill on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Royals by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lancaster had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-21.

Littlerock's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lancaster, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-15.

Littlerock couldn't quite get it done against Lancaster when the teams last played back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Lobos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
