Volleyball Recap: Conotton Valley Wins Going Away Against Claymont

Conotton Valley won the last time they faced Claymont and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rockets blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

While Conotton Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-21.

Ava Williams paced Conotton Valley's offense, picking up 17 kills. Williams got some help from Delilah Williams and her 32 assists. Ava was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Conotton Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Claymont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Conotton Valley will face off against Tuscarawas Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Claymont, they will square off against East Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
