Baseball Recap: Twin River Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Twin River and Central City/Centura had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans lost 10-4 to the Kernels on Thursday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Kernels recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Twin River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Alexander, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Colsten Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Twin River's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Central City/Centura, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Coming up, Twin River will square off against Benson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans are facing the Bunnies at the right time seeing as the Bunnies are stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Central City/Centura, they will take on Elkhorn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
