Basketball Recap: Watson Chapel Victorious

Watson Chapel pushed their score to 67 the last time they played Crossett, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Watson Chapel Wildcats pulled ahead with a 1-0 photo finish over the Crossett Eagles. The one-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Watson Chapel has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Crossett, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Watson Chapel will be playing in front of their home fans against Star City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Star City has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three contests. Crossett has already played their next match (against Monticello), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
